Purple Christmas...

I am now in Sabah, my hometown for not more than 2 weeks but I am glad that I can celebrate Christmas n New Year here with Howard and also get to meet up some of my friends from secondary school. ^^

As planned, on Christmas eve, I had a small X'mas Party in my cousin house but later at night, Howard fetched me, saying to celebrate Christmas with me.

Nothing surprised me as I knew that he sure brought me for a drink and countdown with the people over there. In here, I don't think we can find those so-called X'mas atmosphere as had in KL. Sandakan is just a small town and most people might just celebrate in their own homes or in cafe or pub. However, 1 thing surprised me was that Howard gave a bouquet of purple roses. Wow..my dream flowers! I didn't expect he could find purple roses here as it was quite hard to find any in this small little town.

Yah..although it was quite weird to receive flowers in christmas, sure it wasn't weird but rather a surprise and excitement for me! but, I was so guilty as I didnt prepare any present for him because I didn't expect we would exchange presents with each others. OH..I'm so mean! =(

Howard's Birthday..

Sorry for the late update for the reason I mentioned in my last update, i.e. my assessments. The papers have piled up and lots to study for this assessments..but now I'm a short holidays so try to update the blogs as much as I can..

After Alson's birthday on 28.11.08, Ivy's birthday came too on 30.11.08.. We felt sorry for her as we really didnt much celebrate with her.. but we sang birthday song in front of her door.. after that, her time was all occupied by Richard.

When the clock struck 12, Richard was holding a bouquet of roses and a big pinky bear going to her room with us. It was so sweet and romantic.. I am sure that they were having a pleasant night that day. =P

Well, back to the topic, it was Howard's birthday on 3.12.08. Ah! Jing Xiong's birthday was on 2.12.08 too.. their whole gang's birthday was that near to each others. I couldn't celebrate with Howard as the next day he was having his final exam. However, I came with a plan that we could at least sing a birthday song for him in the 1st floor as they were all studying there for the finals.

Clock struck 12, the lights in level 1 was switched off.. a glowing cake was held by me, holding in step by step and the birthday song was getting louder and louder. Thanks to Emloyd and William for helping to explain to the residents and switching on and off the lights. After those so-called 'ritual', I gave him a present with a kiss ^^ I bought him a Converse Handbag. Some chats were going on for an hour then they continued their studies.

Anyway, thanks to them for helping me to celebrate Howard's birthday as it was his 1st time celebrating his birthday with some other people. Hope that was one of his memorable days in life!

Alson's Birthday!!! Part 1

Yesterday (28.11.2008) was a memorable day for me. Know why? Because it was Alson’s birthday. He is my newly known friend from Business Course, also Howard’s coursemate. He is a nice, humorous, caring guy. Want to know how he looks like? Here it comes…his photo…

After everyone is ready, we celebrated his birthday in nearby Pizza Hut. We were a big group which included Alson himself, Ee How, Richard, Ivy, Emloyd, Howard and I but later Cassandra joined us as she just came back from somewhere else with her friends.

In Pizza Hut, all we can heard is our laughters.. As Alson is a fuuny guy, every minute every second, his words and action made us burst into laughter. While eating, Emloyd, Richard and Howard came out with a plan to buy a birthday cake for him.. They bought a raspberry cheese cake. He was busy chit-chatting when suddenly the waiter of Pizza Hut held the cake in both hands and that time all of us sang birthday song to Alson. Imagine his stunt look.. he was so surprised and blushed. He was cute ^^

Well, I think it is a style, not to say a norm, it is said that every birthday boy or girl have to pull out one of the candles from the cake..I don't know what is the meaning or purpose of doing so..It could be just a fun..but Alson was asked to do so after blowing off the candles..poor guy...

Emloyd later then volunteered to help to cut the cake into slices. No doubt, he is a "pro" in cutting the cake because the cake that he cut was equally shape and big.

Thanks Emloyd for cutting the cake.. We all enjoyed the cakes very much.. The cakes were delicious and tasty.. Happy that Alson loves the cheesy cake...

Do u know why I wanna talk about McD? haha.. it is because of my name.. My name is Ye Shan. In chinese, it is pronounced as 'Yi Shan'...sounds like '13' as pronounced in Chinese..

One day, whole gang of us felt hungry..it was midnight and it was too dangerous to walk out even if there were more then 5 people.. therefore, Syaiful suggested that we could call for delivery but he had no McD delivery hotline number.. suddenly, Richard sang a song.. "13 00 1313 00" for several times.. trying to tease me.. haha..

Since that, they always try to tease me when they wanted to go McD... Besides, when we were playing cards.. we were playing "CHO DAI DI"..the rule is that the diamond 3 should out 1st..and then Richard again, trying to tease me by calling me XIAO SHAN as in 'small three' in chinese.. haha..

Well, I don't mind being called as '1300 131300' or 'xiao shan'.. because... people can remember me easily..haha..should thank my parents for giving me such a nice n easy-remembered name..haha..

so folks, feel free to call me '1300 131300' or 'xiao shan' or '13'..hahahaha..
