Home Sweet Home!

Last night was a tiring night. Early at night at 10pm, Howard and I went to airport to wait for my Mummy who arrived LCCT from Gold Coast at 4am in the morning then 2 of us took the morning flight at 7.15am to come back to Sandakan.

During 6 hours in airport, what were we doing? We just ordered a drink in the Coffee Bean and online. The line is not considered sux but it is quite slow and some programmes are blocked and are not allowed to access. HUH! The whole airport shares the same line! Gosh~~

At 3am, stomach was calling for food. We walked around the airport, doing some window shopping (imagine all the shops are closed and we were still there wandering) and we came to a fast food restaurant, named Mary Brown. We ordered a meal and ate while waiting for Mummy.

Clock struck 4 and the announcement of the arrival of the flight was made so we quickly rushed to the international arrival hall. We waited for 30mins then only I saw my Mummy.. I am so so so happy to see as I have not seen her for couples of months. After checking-in for Sandakan flight, we went for a drink.

Finally we reached home after 3 hours on the plane. She bought many things for us - food, clothes, snacks, accessories. I even got a camera from my cousin, Phin-jia. Good! I can take lots of nice photos in UK! Happy! Again, a happy moment was that I can eat homecooked meals. Wow, another good thing is that I no need to do so many household chores. =X Haha..

Left 2 more weeks then I will fly to UK, so there is still lots of things to prepare before going to UK. I have to make good use of the remaining days to finish everything before leaving. ^^

I can't wait to fly to UK to meet new people, to adapt new environment, to start a new life! Wish me Good Luck and hope everything goes on smoothly!

Friends!

As I have mentioned before, I went to KL for my visa application but of course, also trying to meet up with my friends before leaving to UK.

I have spent approximately 3 weeks in KL and I am going back to Sandakan on 24th August with my mum. I really appreciate the times with my friends over here, no matter HELP friends or my secondary school friends. They are meaningful to me! I sure will miss them when I go to UK!

I am very grateful because during my weeks in KL, I tended to attend Cassandra's and Celine's birthday parties where I can meet up and gather with my HELP - Business friends again. Howard and I went out with Ivy and Richard too, to have a movie, dinner, shopping etc. It was another great moment and meaningful memories for me! Besides, Howard and I also got to meet with Kenny and Nicole last week in KLCC, and also Addy.

For sure, I won't forget about my gang of secondary school friends. I went to Sunway to meet with Shui Yen, Keit, OJJ, Cloud! We sang in RedBox for the whole evening. That was great!

Of course, I am very glad that among all the events, my Hubby, Howard was with me all the times, no matter when and where. It touched me and he really cares for me every minutes, every seconds. He is trying his best to bring me to any places I want to go before I go back to Sandakan even his final exam is coming soon. He always said that he is ok with that, asking me not to worry. Thank him very much!!!

My beloved friends, I will miss you all when I go to UK! We might be less contact but that doesn't mean that I don't care about you all anymore! You all are meaningful to me! I am very glad to have friends like you all. Do keep in touch! Love and miss you all!!! You all know who you are although some of them I didn't mention here!

Howard, I will definitely love and miss you! Take care yourself!

Visa Application

Today, I went for my visa application appointment which I need to submit all my supporting documents and also relevant forms. The Visa Application Centre is located in the building called Wisma MCA, Jalan Ampang.

This morning, I took bus, LRT all by myself and all the way to Ampang Park just to submit the documents and have my biometrics taken. My appointment was at 10am but I arrived the building too early. I reached there by 9am which means I have to stand in the lobby to wait for 45mins before going up to 19th Floor where the VAC is located.

While waiting the 45mins to pass, I double-checked my documents again and again, hoping I do not lack of any documents. However, I always do have the feeling that I lack of something, and keep recalling the documents needed for application.

Up to 19th Floor, the security guards are strict that they checked your bags, passport, body-check etc. When we get into the office, we have to show the guard our appointment time and also to see whether our name is on the list. Number is given and waited to be called.

After couples of minutes, it was my turn and the officer is nice and friendly. She asked me to take out all my documents and started to check them. However, something really happened this time. She said my fixed deposits were matured, meaning that they are expired and needed me to update. So I have to go to the nearest bank but my FD can only update in my home branch and again, the bank officer is kind enough to help me to update and print the relevant documents out from their database system.

Again, I have to rush back to VAC just to get everything done as soon as possible. Finally, she accepted my documents and then it was my scarest part among the whole day - BIOMETRICS! My fingerprints are famous for thin and hard to scan. 2 thumbs would make the officers crazy and now I have to scan for 10 fingers. My gosh! No doubt, there are problems with my fingerprint scanning. They were too dry! Last time was too wet and now too dry! What THE XXXX! Lastly still manage to get the fingerprints scanned.

And now, what I can do is to wait for my visa collection. Hope they won't reject my visa application and hope that everything goes on smoothly and hope I can get my visa as soon as possible! Praying hard~~
